Commissioned for the Chief of Air Staff’s Award 2025, these bespoke RAF Astra trophies were designed to reflect the ambition, modernisation, and innovation at the heart of the Royal Air Force’s Astra programme.
Each trophy features a deep blue kiln-fired glass disc, evoking the night sky and RAF identity, set within a circular bamboo frame. The combination of vibrant colour and natural grain creates a powerful contrast, symbolising both vision and grounded leadership. The piece is anchored by a precision-machined stainless steel base, laser-engraved with the Astra values: Innovate. Challenge. Improve.
